This booklet is a basic roadmap for researchers at the Ministry of Health from which researchers can identify the mechanisms for submission and approval of research proposals and know what research should be approved by Central and Regional Committees, rules to obtain raw data, and the mechanisms for providing technical and financial support, all of which are important components for researchers to acquire the basic steps for carrying out research in the Ministry of Health. This booklet will also guide researchers for applying for research awards by the Ministry of Health to encourage research and improve the quality of the conducted research.
