The Centre of Studies & Research (MoH-CSR) led by Director Dr Adhra Al-Mawali, met with the planning directors and heads of research departments of all the governorates on  Monday 5^th August 2019 in the conference hall of the Ministry of Health Headquarters.

During the meeting, the most important topics were discussed with regard to the Centre of Studies & Research and the departments of studies and research in the governorates:

• Development and finalisation of health research priorities by the governorates
• Ways to improve collaboration between the CSR and the governorates to encourage health workers to do research
• Updates and challenges with regard to the governorates’ research committees
• Novel implementation mechanism for  the 3rd Health Research Forum to be held in March 2020
