The Centre of Studies & Research congratulates Dr Adhra Hilal Al-Mawali who was awarded the Academic of Distinction runners-up Award in the field of science and engineering at the 2019 LEWAS Awards, held in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
LEWAS is the forerunner in the GCC to honor talented and influential women, address pressing issues, develop new and better opportunities and create long-lasting collaborations and partnerships across the industry and beyond. The Academic of Distinction Award is given to a female academic professional with 10 or more years of experience in the Science and/or Engineering department, in the Energy industry who is known to actively promote the field, as well as engage in research and lectures, including the development of young women in these areas.
