The Centre of Studies & Research participated in the 10th Pharmaceutical Care Conference organised by the Directorate General of Medical Supplies which was held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre on the 12-14th December.
The second day of the program included a parallel workshop organised by the Directorate General of Planning and Studies, titled ‘Knowledge to Policy’ workshop, which focused on evidence-informed policymaking.
Dr Warda Al-Amri, Acting Director of the Centre of Studies and Research gave the welcome remarks on behalf of Director General of Planning and Studies. Dr Sultana Al-Sabahi spoke about knowledge translation and its approaches to increase the uptake of evidence by the decision makers. Dr Murtadha Al-Khabori from Sultan Qaboos University Hospital gave a session talk on steps in systematic reviews while Dr Hasina Al-Harthi from The Royal Hospital gave a talk on apprising the research evidence.
