The Ministry of Health represented by the Centre of Studies and Research in the Directorate General of Planning and Studies plans is implementing two national surveys in all governorates of the Sultanate. The surveys aim to provide a database in several areas to meet the needs of planning and decision making for many of the health programs of the Ministry, which would contribute to the development of the health system and raise the quality of health services provided. The surveys are:

• National Non-Communicable Diseases Survey
• National Nutrition Survey
